Unknown Facts About Google !

Google is the most visited website in the world. We all use it day in day out and gets our query result in a just fraction of a second. Today in this article of mine I will be listing down 10 of the most interesting facts about Google that I have acquired from various websites and YouTube channels.

Let's get started: 

1. Before Google got its actual name, the founders of the Google have thought of some other names for their company and they were "BackRub" and "WhatBox". The name Google is actually a misspelling of the word "googol" which is a mathematical term whose meaning is a 1 followed by 100 of zeros.


2. Google's first tweet was I am feeling Lucky in Binary Code.


3. If you will ever search for "I want to commit suicide" in Google's search box, above all search result a helpline number will come that belongs to your area.
   
   
   


4. Yahoo turned down the chance to buy Google for $1 million in 1997, today Google's parent company Alphabet worths $498 billion.


5. If you search "askew" in the Google search the search result will tilt slightly to the right.





6. While Employees are called "Googlers", New Employees are called "Nooglers" at Google.


7. Everyday 60% unique searches occur at Google.


8. Google's Homepage is so simple because the founder of Google didn't know HTML and they just wanted a quick interface, in fact for a long time there was no submit button (Google Search Button) and to start your search you had to press the enter button.


9. In 2009 a programmer accidentally blocked every website that is indexed on Google by putting a forward slash '/' by mistake and it takes somewhere around an hour to sort it out.


10. Google estimates that an ad on its homepage would cost a whopping amount of 10 million dollars and this space is not for sale.

Apart from the above-mentioned facts try to use two Google tricks, first search for "Do a Barrel Roll" and after that search for "Zerg Rush" and have some fun with Google.
