TOR Browser was first developed for the people of US Navy only but nowadays it is used by a large number of people around the globe who are involved in various illegal activities. It is basically used by hackers and the people who are involved in numbers of illegal works and in order to make sure that they don't get caught by the police or get traced down by their ISP's they use TOR browser.When TOR was first developed its main purpose was to provide a way for people of US Navy to browse the Web anonymously, TOR stands for The Onion Router.
The Tor network disguises your identity by moving your traffic across different Tor servers, and encrypting that traffic so it isn't traced back to you. Anyone who tries would see traffic coming from random nodes on the Tor network, rather than your computer.When we get connected by our normal browser a communication link gets established between our computer system and the server from where we are expecting to get the response and this link stay there till we are communicating with the server, In case of using TOR browser the communication link keep on fluctuating all the time and it does not stay with the same server all the time and it keeps on moving from one server to another by doing so it is difficult to trace down the activity of an individual who uses TOR.
If you are a normal user who simply accesses the web for comman uses, there is no need of using the TOR browser as it slows down the browing speed as our data packets don't go directly to the server and goes trough a relay process like going from one to another and then reaching to the actual location, being a normal user and still want to secure your Identity over the web you can go for a VPN.
