How to send an Apk file in WhatsApp!

We all use WhatsApp, and to be honest, It is the best instant messaging app that the world have ever seen and used. People following WhatsApp developed so many apps and present them in the market but none of them had the capability to overcome the already captured market of WhatsApp.WhatsApp is available for all of the major mobile Operating Systems like Android, IOS, Blackberry, or Windows. Right now there is over 400 million active user who uses Whatsapp on daily basis for sending unlimited text, videos, images, audios or even documents now. But do you guys know, we can not send or receive an Application file which we call an apk file directly in the WhatsApp, the reason for this is that WhatsApp does not support the extension .apk yet for sending documents.

So, today in this article of mine, I am going to tell you guys a trick that will allow you to send an apk file using WhatsApp, by using this trick you can send an app to any of your contacts directly.

Let us get started with the trick:

• First of all, go to your file explorer that you must be having on your android phone and select the application that you want to send.


• The next thing that you have to do is the most important part of this trick, you need to rename the application by changing its extension, as the application extension will be .apk, you need to change it to a .txt extension. For example, If you want to send randomapp.apk, change its name to randomapp.txt.Now as you have changed the extension of the app, now WhatsApp won't be able to recognize that you are sending an application via it and WhatsApp will feel like you are sending a .txt file.We are simply changing it to .txt format, because this format is supported by WhatsApp for sending files.

• Select the contact to whom you want to send this file and make sure to tell them that once downloading this file, they change its extension back to .apk. As the file, they will be receiving a file named as  randomapp.txt, so they need to change its extension back to randomapp.apk. They will be needed to visit WhatsApp documents folder to see the file.

• In this way, you can send an application via WhatsApp.
