How to Play and Download YouTube Videos Using VLC Media Player !

VLC media player probably the most used media player for watching movies and videos in our Computer. But do you guys know, that you can even play youtube videos on the VLC media player and not only play YouTube videos in VLC, you can also download it from VLC by following a simple but useful trick? Well if you guys know how to do it, then it's wonderful but if you don't know or somehow have forgotten the way of doing this, then don't worry, I am going to define the steps for playing as well as downloading YouTube videos using our very own and one of the most popular media player around the globe none other than VLC.

Let us get started:

• The first thing you need to do is to grab the URL of your favorite video from YouTube that you want to play in VLC, simply navigate to YouTube's website and then search for your favorite video and once it gets appeared open it and copy its URL from the address bar or you can copy the URL by right-clicking on the video and selecting the copy video URL option from it.





• Once you have copied the URL, open the VLC media player on your computer and then navigate to Media Menu on it and then click on Open Network Stream.





• After clicking on Open Network Stream, a new window will open where you have to enter the copied URL and then you need to select the play option from below available options.






• Now the Video will start playing in VLC and its speed depends on your Internet Connection Speed.Once the Video gets played you need to click on Tools Menu and have to select the Media Information Option from there.






• A new window will open once you click on the Media Information Option, here you will see Location tag just at the bottom of the window and there you will see the address of playing video just copy it from here.






• Once you have copied the location, you need to open your favorite browser and paste this location over there and play the Video, and now you either can download the video by right-clicking on it and select save video as from the available options or by simply clicking the download icon at the bottom of the playing window.
