Kaspersky has launched its Operating System.

Kaspersky who is well known for developing antivirus has come up with an Operating System of its own. In November 2016, there was a buzz about the specialist antivirus company that they are going to start working on their Operating System and now Kaspersky has officially announced that the Operating System is ready and now it is available for people around the globe who wants to use it.

  • According to the CEO of the Kaspersky, Eugene has said in a blog that it took dedication and hard work of 14 years to come up with this awesome product. The OS was originally conceived on the 11 November that is why the company has decided to give it a codename as 11-11.Kaspersky OS is a hackproof OS and it has been designed and developed basically for network-based devices, IOT and for the industrial control systems.
  • There was few comparison of Kaspersky OS with already available and popular OS Linux, people were questioning that why do we need another Linux? Eugene came up with the answer in his blog and said that there is not a single string of Linux code in the OS and his team at Kaspersky has developed the OS from the very scratch for completely different applications and purposes.

  • The Developed OS is based on MicroKernel Architecture, thus it needs a near-minimum amount of software support that can provide the mechanisms needed for its implementation.

  • The Operating System has been designed for a targeted audience that includes Hardware Developers, SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Systems which is a system that is used for gathering and analyzing real time data, IOT etc.

  • The main focus of this Operating System is to offer maximum possible Security, this is not an out of box product and its price will be dependent on the types of applications it is implemented with and needs.

  • Eugene has said in his blog that they are not selling a boxed solution with a cure-all for everyone instead of they are focussing on collaborating with the industry people like vendors, developers who provide network-based equipment, automation systems or even smart fridges, the company will provide them the code and will help them to configure it according to their needs and requirements, thus the final pricing of the product will be depending upon the application and the labor that needs to be put in the final product.

  • Everything can be hacked nothing is perfect but as Eugene mentioned in his blog that their job is to make it as difficult as possible for hackers to hack into their OS and while developing this OS they have made sure to make the lives of hackers very difficult if they try to hack in here and there motive is to make cyber attacks so costly that they become unprofitable business.
So Kaspersky has finally come up with its very own hackproof Operating System as they say it after the consistent hard work of 14 years and only time will tell that how it will turn out in the market and how the user will be benefitted from it when they implement it personally.
