You don't need a degree to be Innovative !

For the very first time, I am posting something not so technical in my blog. Well, a few days back I read this amazing story of a man from Kochi who modified his auto-rickshaw in such a manner that it started looking like a Mahindra Scorpio SUV, and the man re-designed his vehicle in such a way that anyone who would see it for the very first would be blown away by the creativity of this awesome man. The main motivation for writing this article came to me when I read the story of this man and being a normal auto driver who doesn't hold any degree or haven't attended any college or University possess such great creativity and an artist within himself and that is why I have given the title of this post as "You Don't need a degree to be Innovative".

There is a genius in every one of us, we just have to uncover it and have to recognize the area where this genius can excel. The story of this man came to light when a Twitter User Anil Panicker posted the picture of his modified Auto-Rickshaw that looks like a Mahindra Scorpio SUV, the man was so driven by the awesomeness of this auto-rickshaw driver that along with posting the pic, he also tagged Anand Mahindra, the Executive Chairman of Mahindra Group, in his tweet.

Same as the Panicker, Anand Mahindra too was impressed by the design and the sheer innovation of this man from Kochi, and he quickly replied to the earlier tweet by asking if his team or anyone could help him locate the owner. He also announced that he would buy the revamped auto for the Mahindra museum and instead gift the person concerned a four-wheeler in return.

It took around 2 months for his team to track down Sunil, the owner of this modified Auto-Rickshaw and after tracking down him, Anand Mahindra kept his promise and by proving himself the man of his words he gifted Sunil a Mahindra Supro Mini Van and posted an adorable picture of him.

It is always thrilling to witness such innovative and creative people that our country has, and they always keep on proving that no one can take your talent out of you, if you possess some talent and if you are willing to push yourself against any situation then you will surely emerge as a winner, salute to the creativity of Mr. Sunil and also thanking Mr. Panicker for posting his awesomeness on Twitter and also Mr. Anand Mahindra for gifting this man a new vehicle as a token of appreciation for his creativity.
