Technology comes for the Rescue in a Train !

Most of the time, people start criticizing the evolvement of technology by saying that because of its growth, human being have gone lazy in their day to day life and everyone has become over-dependent on it. Being a tech blogger and a technology lover, I won't say that using technology is bad or technology has stolen away the capacity of a human brain, According to me, its the way that a person implements and use the presented technology is the way he/she gets a result.

The motivation for writing this article about technology usage and how technology have been evolved over the years to help a person in every possible way came to me when I read this news today that how an Interning doctor helps a lady to deliver a baby boy in a train using Whatsapp and getting instruction from his senior there.

A news that has spread like a fire from morning today over the Intenet and on social networking sites today is that A 24-year-old final year MBBS student named Vipin Khadse helped a woman give birth to a baby boy on-board the Ahmedabad-Puri Express with instructions from his seniors through WhatsApp. Vipin who is not a qualified doctor yet showed courage to pull off this complicated delivery of a woman named Chitralekha in a train when she went into labor pain on the train on Friday. They were (Chitralekha and her relatives) traveling to Raipur Chattisgarh from Ahmedabad.

According to Vipin, the relatives of the woman pulled the chain of the train near the Wardha Junction which is somewhat 30 KM from Nagpur. After the train gets halted the ticket examiner and the guard started searching for doctor in the train but unfortunately then didn't find any and in the first enquiry Vipin didn't respond to them as he thought that there might be some qualified and experienced doctor in the train, but when the ticket collector and the guard of the train came again for the enquiry Vipin raised his voice and went for helping the lady.

According to Vipin, the delivery was very complicated as the baby's shoulder was hanging out of the vagina instead of his head, and the woman was bleeding heavily, Vipin at that point of time could have hesitated and get afraid of the presented situation but he maintained his composure and used his mind to handle this tricky situation, he clicked a photo of it and uploaded it into the Whatsapp group of doctors and after some time a lady named Shikha Malik guided him through the delivery on the phone.

When the train reached the Nagpur station a team of doctor led by a lady doctor took charge of the situation and the newly made parents continue their traveling with proper medication.

At last, I just want to say thanks to Vipin for helping the needy and showing great presence of mind to bring a new person in this world by using his medical science as well as using the Internet and the technology correctly.
