Nokia At Mobile World Congress 2017: Announcements!

Finally, the wait is over and the major announcements that we all were waiting for, from so many days have come from one and only and our beloved company Nokia. As I told you guys earlier that whatever the phones that HMD Global is planning to launch under the Nokia Brand will be made public on 26 February 2017 at MWC and the same happened.

In this article of mine, I am going to talk about all the major announcements regarding the Nokia Phones and I will also let you know about their configuration and key points, and also the most important and exciting news is that our childhood friend, most of the people's first mobile phone has made a grand comeback , yes you guessed it right Nokia 3310 is back in a whole new avatar.

• Nokia 3310: Since the news came that Nokia 3310 will return to market, everyone was quite excited about it, people start assuming that how it will return, what will be its configuration, whether it will come as a smartphone or it will return as a normal phone like before, the new Nokia 3310 has come with a twist with a  whole new avatar and design, having a 2.4 inch QVGA color display,there were excitement about its connectivity feature that it will support 4G but no it is providing the normal 2G support and runs on Nokia 30+OS. The internal storage is 16 MB only and it supports expandable storage via MicrosSD card(up to 32GB).The Battery is 1200 MAH and having a 2-Megapixel back camera with LED flash. We all were so fond of playing the snake game on old Nokia phones, this classic game is making a comeback with new Nokia 3310, the battery life of this phone promises to deliver a  talk time of 22 hours and a standby of 1 month.The price of this phone will be somewhere around 3500-4000 INR, and it comes with the 4-color option, warm Red, Yellow, Grey and Dark Blue.It will be available in India somewhere close to April or May 2017.

• Nokia 6:  Nokia 6 made earlier available only for the China Market and it created quite a boom as all the handsets were sold out in just a few seconds, The Nokia 6 finally comes out of the China Market and now will be available all around the world.The price of this smartphone in Europe is EUR 229 that will approximately come to somewhere around 16000 INR. The difference that can bee noticed from the china model is that the Nokia 6 that made available in China was a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory variant but the Nokia 6 that will be available globally will come up with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.It will arrive in markets such as India, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Europe in Q2 2017(around April, May, June).It comes with 5.5-inch full-HD display wrapped in 2.5D Gorilla Glass.It will come up with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat Version and will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Soc Processor and supports microSD cards that can be expandable up to 128 GB.Nokia 6 comes with 16 MegaPixel Back camera and 8 MegaPixel Front Camera, it supports Dual Sim and comes with a non-removable battery of 3000mAh.It comprises of a fingerprint scanner and all other types of sensors.

• In addition to normal Nokia 6 Model, a special edition Nokia 6 Model is also announced at MWC 2017 which is named as Nokia 6 Arte Black Special edition Model, this model comes up with a glossy black body and for design-obsessed people it can do the trick and in addition it comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory rest of the feature are same as Nokia 6 Model. Its price will be higher in comparison to normal Nokia6 Model and will be somewhere around 18-20k in INR.


• Nokia 3: If you want a good budget Phone of Nokia, then Nokia3 might turn out to be the right choice for you.Priced at EUR 139, about rs 9800.This smartphone comes along with polycarbonate body and metallic frames on the sides.It comes with the latest version of Android which is 7.0 Nougat Version and has a 5-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 chipset, with 2GB RAM support and 16GB internal memory and up to 128GB microSD card support.It comes up with microUSB2.0, with NFC support,2650mAh battery, and 8-MegaPixel front and back camera.

• Nokia 5: Nokia5 are for those people who wants a medium range phone at a compact size, Priced at EUR 189 about 13,500 INR.It comes up with a fingerprint sensor which is not there in Nokia3 and also comprises of all other sensors, 5.2 inches HD display and Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system support, it runs on snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 128GB using microSD cards.It comes up with 13-MegaPixel back camera and 8-MegaPixel front camera, with 3000mAh battery support and also includes NFC support.

That's in this article of mine, those were the information related to the launches that HMD global made under the Nokia Brand at MWC 2017 and only time will tell that how all these phones will turn out in the market, It is obvious that Nokia has the faith of public and people will definitely give them a try when they become available in the market for purchase. For Nokia 3310 I just want to say if you want to have a good backup phone associating with a brand then you can surely go for Nokia 3310 and it will work well.
