How to Send Money Without Internet Using Paytm.

Paytm has been one of the most used services among all the available e-wallet systems. As India is moving towards the cashless system, Paytm is trying its best to make it easy for Indian citizens to go cashless even without the Internet. It has always been a thought that Paytm can only be used by the person who owns a smartphone and have a good and stable Internet Connection for making transaction. But Now Paytm has come with all guns blazing and has provided a toll-free number 1800 1800 1234 that will allow a normal person who is not having a smartphone and is not connected to the Internet to send and receive money through their Paytm Accounts.

In this article of mine, I will tell you guys about the various steps that are involved in the offline usage of Paytm for sending money:
  1. First of all the user need to have an existing Paytm account to use this service, Now the user who doesn't own a personal smartphone can use the phone of their relatives to create a Paytm account and later on can access this account of theirs using toll-free service.Another way by which a normal user can create their account is to visit paytm.com, they can visit the cyber cafe for accessing the Internet or if they have Internet facility in their home then they can login into the paytm.com through that as well.

  2. Once the account is created the next step is to add money to your Paytm wallet, the money can be added by using debit/credit card or by using net banking from your related bank account.

  3. The next step is to call the given toll-free number that is 1800 1800 1234, is the call is for the first time, the call will get disconnected automatically after few minutes and then you will receive a call from Paytm itself and as the first step they will ask you to set up a pin.

  4. After the Pin Setup is completed the next step is to enter the mobile number of the person whom you want to send money, make sure that the mobile number you are entering is having an existing Paytm account after that enter the amount you want to send, here also the amount you are entering needs to be available in your Paytm wallet, once this is done you will be asked to enter  the pin that you have set up and then your transaction will be done.

  5. The next time you will make a call to 1800 1800 1234 you will be presented with more options like sending money, to recharge your mobile or to log out of your Paytm account in case of your mobile has been lost or stolen.
This is one of the easiest ways of sending money without the Internet and it will definitely prove helpful for the people who don't own a smartphone and want an easy interface for sending money. BHIM app also provides the toll-free service that can be accessed by dialing *99# from your mobile phone, here also the account has to be existing with the BHIM app before accessing the toll-free service.
