Whenever Someone creates a Website or a Blog, the first thing that comes to their minds that how can I increase the traffic on my website, so that my website gets popular and reach to larger number of people, the next thing that comes to person's mind is how can I monetize my website or my blog so that the effort that I am putting for providing decent content to my followers should get some sort of reward.

The answer to both of the above question is two of the highly used platforms developed by Google named as AdWords and AdSense. Now most of the time being new to blogging or website creation users find it difficult to understand that what is the difference between the two of them and how they can use AdWords and AdSense for the betterment of their Websites or Blogs. So, In this article of mine, I will try to clear the confusion between the two and will also try to present the difference between the two of them in a precise and clear manner.

What is Google AdWords:

AdWords is the platform that can be used by the Blogger or a Website Developer to create ads for their sites and can display their created ads on Google Search Results, on the partner websites or on the Google Display Network(Websites that shows Google Ads). One of the main characteristics of Google Adwords is that you only need to pay when someone clicks on  your ad. Once you login into your Adwords Account, there you can create Campaign for your ads, you can decide what will be the budget that you will be spending on your ads and what are the positions where your ads will be displayed and Google will only charge you when someone clicks on your ads.

AdWords Uses the Pay Per Click concept, It is not so difficult to use the AdWords, but if you don't know how to implement its correctly then you might well end up losing a lot of money. Google Adwords also provides you the flexibility of choosing your preferred audience or the group of specific to whom you want to show your ads, the system also allows you to select keywords, so that when someone searches for one of the specified keywords your ad should appear. It is also possible to display ads based on the region, selected days and according to time as well.

Thus, we can come to a conclusion about AdWords is that, If we want to advertise about our newly created Blog or Website then AdWords is the best available platform, the only thing that needs to be taken into consideration is to plan the budget carefully and if you are new to this field then you should definitely get some assistance from expert of this field. Many popular Websites and Blogs also takes the services of AdWords cause they know if they want to achieve more success then they have to reach more people and to reach more people through advertisement and campaigns nothing can beat Google AdWords.

What is Google AdSense:

AdSense is the Platform that can be used as a Web Master or normally a Blog owner for displaying ads on your own Website. Using Google AdSense is one of the most preferred ways of monetizing a Website or a Blog even your YouTube Channel can also be monetized using the service of Adsense. AdSense platform allows you to place Google ads on your Website or on your blog or on your YouTube Channel and when someone clicks on the ads that are displaying on your website you will get a share of money what the advertiser pays. Let us take an example Some XYZ  is a mobile manufacturer company that uses Adwords to promote their business and pays Google 2$ every time someones clicks on their ads as we know you only need to pay to Google when someone clicks on your ads using the AdWords Platform. Now Let us assume that you are a blogger who writes blog about mobile phone specifications and also write reviews about them, now if you are using the AdSense platform for the purpose of monetizing and google place the same ad of XYZ mobile company on your website and if someone clicks on them you will get a share of 68% of total money that the company is paying to Google and Google will have 32% of it.So if the company is paying 2$ then you will get $1.36 and Google will get $0.64.
