Insane Biometric Solutions !

We all have heard about Biometric Solutions, we tend to use them in our daily lives like for unlocking our smartphones, we use fingerprint scanning or in some other high-end smartphones, there is also the concept of face scanning, there was Iris scanning as well. Thus we know it very well that in the end it's all about authentication and getting access to a particular device.

Biometric Solutions
Fingerprint Scanning, Iris Scanning, Pattern Unlocking or the latest Face unlocking solutions are some of the solutions that we keep on hearing when it comes to authenticating some device or when we talk about Biometric solutions to keep the system safe.

Today in this article of mine, I want to share some other types of Biometric solutions that can be used or can be implemented in the maintenance of a highly sensitive system, where one data leak can cause havoc and any types of compromise with security are not acceptable. These Biometric solutions are not so common, but these kinds of solutions are highly efficient when it comes to maintaining a high level of security.

Let's get started:
  1. Full Hand Scanning: As in FingerPrint Scanning we tend to provide just one finger of ours and then the system matches the pattern of our provided finger, and if the system finds its correct we get authenticated. In case of Hand Scanning, we have to provide the complete palm of ours and then the whole pattern of our given palm gets checked and based on different parameters we get authenticated, these parameters include the size of our palm, the size of our fingers which is unique and can not be easily replicated.

  2. Brain Waves: Brain waves are the waves that come from our brain in a particular situation and then the system analyzes the outcoming waves to check the identity of a particular person. Like every person reacts differently to a particular situation the waves that come from our minds are also different. For example, when someone talks you about Bollywood your mind starts thinking something and the brain waves start coming out, then this wave will only be yours and can be used for recognizing your identity.

  3. Vein Matching: Vein network inside our body which is unique to everyone gets scanned using Infrared rays and then a password gets created based on the veins that are moving through our hands or the palm and then based on this a person gets recognized. It is a highly secure mechanism and can not be replicated.

  4. Ear Scanning: Like hand or iris scanning, ear scanning is also one of the biometric solutions that can be used to identify a person. Everyone's ear pattern is different so it can also be a smart biometric solution to be used.

  5. Heart Rhythm Scan: The Heartbeat rhythm is used to identify an individual, there are numerous devices that are used to analyze the rhythm of our heartbeat and based on that analysis we get recognized, wristwatch-like devices are used that we simply put on on our wrist and then the heartbeat pattern gets analyzed.

  6. Gait Analysis: This is also one of crazy biometric solution where how we are moving our body, gets measured and based on that we get identified, we have seen this in Mission Impossible movies. Here our body movements are taken into consideration and as we know each individual has its own style of walking and it is highly difficult for another person to replicate the same body movement.

  7. KeyBoard Stroke Patterns: Here the typing speed and the stroke pattern of an individual gets analyzed and based on that the person got authenticated. For example, if your phone password is 123456 and if someone knows it but as we are implementing Keyboard Stroke Pattern mechanism, where the person won't be able to access your device as their stroke pattern and keyboard hitting speed will be different from yours. In this mechanism how fast or slow you hit a key in your keyboard gets analyzed and based on that, you get authenticated.

As we are living in the age of Internet and Web, the amount of data is humongous and in coming years it is only going to be increased, so in order to maintain the integrity of our data we need smart and robust solutions and when it comes to robustness, Biometric solutions are the solutions that most of us trust, in near future we are surely going to see many more smart and awesome inventions as they always say nothing is perfect and there is always some room of improvement in every authentication mechanism.
