A sad news for all JIO users !

Reliance JIO has been the talk of the town from the past 6 months since it gets launched but from the past one week, there have been so much happening regarding Reliance JIO all over the market. First there were speculation about the Reliance JIO extending the period for taking prime membership which Reliance did and they not only extended the time period till 15th of April to become a prime member they also announced a summer surprise offer which was bound to provide three more months of free services for the prime members if they recharge for 303 or above. But, Yesterday when I was surfing the Internet suddenly I saw an article regarding JIO has withdrawn the Summer Surprise offer and now no one is going to get the 3 months of free services.

It is really sad to see such great offers and services are getting withdrawn due to the pressure of heading organizations. In this case, TRAI, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has advised Reliance JIO to withdraw the summer surprise offer in a meeting that was held between TRAI and the Reliance Officials yesterday. The Mukesh Ambani owned company Reliance JIO has added that they have accepted the advice from the TRAI and are withdrawing their summer surprise offers for the prime members. 

Although the company also added that the user who has already subscribed to the prime membership plan and has also done their first recharges of INR 303 or above will get the benefit of summer surprise offer that was stated earlier and the new customer that are going to get enrolled for the prime membership from now on and will be doing their first recharges of INR 303 or above are not going to be eligible for the summer surprise offer and they will have to do the monthly recharges if they want to continue using Reliance JIO services.

It is believed that the Rest of the Telecom service provider might have pressurized TRAI for taking this decision as their services were getting affected by the amazing offers of Reliance JIO. As Reliance JIO has already provided free services for the past 6 months since it gets launched, and if it would have been allowed to provide free services for another 3 months for such smaller amount (99+303) then the user base of rest of the Telecom service providers might have been hampered a lot, that is why they have taken this step against Reliance JIO and asked TRAI to take some strong decision against JIO and in result to that TRAI advises Reliance JIO to withdraw their summer surprise offer from the market.

In the end I just wanted to say, It is really sad to see such amazing offer going down like this as there were chances of more users going for JIO due to this amazing offer, but I hope that Reliance JIO will come out of this and will surely present more delightful offers for its users in near future that will allow all of us to use the Internet at a very minimal cost and use other services at a very affordable cost as well.
