Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus has been launched!

Finally, the wait is over and all the suspense regarding the new flagship phone by Samsung has been uncovered, Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in a special event that held in New York.

Well, the previous year everything went wrong for Samsung with its Samsung Galaxy Note 7. We all know, the Note 7 went into flames as we keep on hearing news about the battery getting blasted and the whole phone turns into a waste within few minutes. However, Samsung finally returns to the flagship game with their latest Galaxy S line. Samsung has always been renowned for making awesome smartphones and it is just the previous year when they went down for some time cause of their poor batteries used in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 but as all tech giants make a comeback, Samsung is no exception and it has come back with these two variants of Samsung Galaxy S Series namely S8 and S8 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the standard variant of two which will carry the 5.8-inch display whereas the other variant which is Galaxy S8 plus will come up with a 6.2-inch display.

Samsung has launched these phones and has promoted them by calling them phones with "infinity display", It is because the phone is curved from left and right and that has increased the size of the display. Both the phone have iris and fingerprint scanners that will help users to make digital payments and unlock their devices. These latest phones from Samsung also comes with Samsung’s new smart digital assistant Bixby which is Samsung's answer to Google Assistant and Siri.The phone is also dust and water resistant. These phones are comprised of all types of sensors.The phones will be available for pre-order from March 30. Well, the shipping of the phones will be started from 21st of April and the phones will be first shipped to the US and then to other countries.

Samsung Galaxy S8:

Well, to start with the Operating System, it will run on Android 7.0 nougat and will carry a 5.8 inch Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 2960×1440 pixels which is not completely 2K display or a complete 4K display it falls somewhere between 2k and 4k. The phone will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The phone have a 64GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB, and with 4GB of RAM.

Let us talk about the camera of Samsung Galaxy S8, The phone carries 12 Megapixel Rear camera with 8 Megapixel front camera. The phone comes up with 3000mAH Battery and will support fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus:

Well, it will run on Android 7.0 nougat and will carry a 6.2 inch Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 2960×1440 pixels which is the same with Samsung Galaxy S8. The phone will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The phone have the 64GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB, and it had 4GB of RAM.


The phone carries 12 Megapixel Rear camera with 8 Megapixel front facing a camera. The phone comes up with 3500mAH Battery and will support fast charging. Most of the specification are same as with the Samsung Galaxy S8 the only difference is in the size of the screen and in the battery size.

Price Factor:

When we talk about the price of these two phones, While Samsung did not announce the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ price at its event, Verizon Wireless has the lowest rates, at $720 (roughly Rs. 46,700) for the Galaxy S8 and $840 (roughly Rs. 54,500) for the Galaxy S8+.
